19 August 2021. In line with this, since last January, the brand has opened 13 new stores and remodelled 13 others, giving them a new visual identity and adapting them to offer an outstanding experience to its customers.

In this way, the brand continues working to achieve its goal and today has carried out the opening of a new shop located in C / Santa Teresa 502 Interior, in the city of Queretaro, in Juriquilla Santa Fe, which becomes the 227th in the country, thus reaching more than 1,780 jobs.

Pizza Hut, operated by Food Delivery Brands

In Mexico, as well as in 32 other countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Iberia, Pizza Hut is operated by Food Delivery Brands, a Spanish company, leader in international pizza delivery.

Since 2019, when the company developed a strategic alliance with Yum!Brands, an American restaurant company, which made it the main operator of the brand throughout the region, Mexico has been a key market for the company, which is why it is investing heavily in its development and growth.

Thus, the Global CEO of Food Delivery Brands, Jacobo Caller, visits Mexico for the first time since his appointment at the beginning of the year, to get to know the market, tour its main cities and celebrate with his team the great achievements made so far.

Ambitious expansion plan in Mexico

Pizza Hut's expansion plan in Mexico is one of the most ambitious of Food Delivery Brands' global expansion plans, with major targets including the opening of 36 shops in the remainder of 2021 and more than 100 new shops by 2022.

In addition, a new factory of more than 5,600m2 will soon be opened, which will produce and distribute to different markets in the region, representing an investment of more than $6 million dollars. This fact contributes to the continued growth of Pizza Hut's figures and results in terms of number of shops, sales and job creation, a figure that will double in the short term.

In the words of Juan Luis Bueno, Country Managing Director Mexico, Food Delivery Brands ,"we are in a moment of growth and there are more and more regions of the country where we are reaching out to Mexican customers, offering them the best pizzas and meeting the highest safety standards. We are pleased to say that we are not only growing our number of shops, which will be more than 300 in the coming year, but we are also increasing our workforce and the level of engagement with our customers".

At the same time, the brand's shops in the country are being remodelled, with the goal of renovating 36 of them by 2021 and more than 30 by 2022. The aim is to reactivate the brand through its new identity, with the modernity that characterises it, and to introduce models, tools and formats that promote a better in-store experience.
