Food Delivery Brands to hire 2,000 people this Christmas

Food Delivery Brands, the company that operates the Telepizza and Pizza Hut brands in Spain, is reinforcing its shop teams ahead of one of the biggest sales periods of the year in the sector.

In this way, the company reinforces its commitment to employment generation in the country, where it currently has around 19,000 employees, 98% of the contracts are permanent.

24 November 2021. - Food Delivery Brands, the company that operates the Telepizza and Pizza Hut brands in Spain, has announced 2,000 new hires in the country to strengthen the service in the last month of the year. The company's announcement confirms the consolidation of the brands in Spain, where, in total, they have close to 800 operating outlets and have opened 27 new establishments so far this year, 17 of them under the Telepizza brand and 10 under the Pizza Hut brand, with plans to continue opening new establishments between now and the end of the year and reach a high number of openings in 2022.

For this reason, the company will increase by around 20% the direct and indirect jobs it generates in Spain, which currently total around 19,000. These hirings come ahead of the Christmas campaign, one of the periods in which home delivery pizza orders and local consumption experience the greatest growth.

In this way, the nearly 800 establishments, both Telepizza and Pizza Hut, will expand their teams in the coming weeks. The professional profile for this job offer is young people between 18 and 30 years of age, who are looking to combine their studies or university internships with a part-time job, and who have a motorbike or car licence for the delivery service. All those who join the shop teams of either of the two brands will receive training in both shop processes and road safety, in order to guarantee their safety.

In this way, the company reinforces its commitment to job creation in the country, where 98% of its hires are permanent. In addition, Food Delivery Brands offers its teams, regardless of the brand they belong to, the opportunity to grow professionally within the company, as currently 90% of vacancies are filled through internal promotion and 15% of the staff at the company's headquarters started their careers as shop and delivery staff.
