Telepizza unveils the strangest pizzas eaten on Halloween night

Telepizza has conducted a study to find out the strangest topping combinations chosen by its customers on Halloween.

October 28, 2021 - Throughout the year, more than 5 billion pizzas are consumed around the world, being one of the most chosen meals to celebrate holidays. In fact, according to Telepizza data, on Halloween, the consumption of Telepizza orders increases by 37%, with Catalonia, Navarra, Ceuta, Basque Country and Aragon in the top five autonomous communities with the highest volume of orders during this night. In addition, according to the brand, Halloween is a date on which customers let their imagination run wild and place the most unusual and unique orders of the year.

To celebrate the scariest night of the year, Telepizza has conducted a study to find out the consumption habits of its customers on Halloween night. The results have left many astonished, as some combinations can be scary.

 

The ranking of the strangest pizzas for tonight is composed of meat Telepizza with chili pepper and spicy sauce, which tests the taste buds of customers while they enjoy their favorite horror movie; sausage with pickle and mustard, for lovers of the classic hot dog; tuna and pineapple, to sow controversy; or sausage with eggplant, for those undecided between meat or vegetables.

 

But that's not all, because Telepizza has also revealed the strangest ingredients consumed by its customers nationwide, where butifarra sausage, prawns, jalapeños and anchovies reign supreme. By autonomous communities, the Madrilenians opt for prawns, anchovies or jalapeños; while the Catalans prefer anchovies, butifarra sausage or chili pepper. Andalusians are loyal to fish and seafood, and on Halloween they choose prawns or anchovies as the protagonists of their Telepizzas. In the same vein, Valencians choose the same ingredients as the Andalusians, but add a spicy touch with jalapeños. The citizens of the Basque Country also declare themselves fans of spiciness with a mixture based on jalisco sauce, shrimps or gherkins.
