New opening of Pizza Hut in Barranquilla

With this opening, the brand reaches 32 shops in Colombia and employs more than 320 people in the country.

This is the brand's first shop in the city of Barranquilla and the Atlantic coast.

05 March 2021 - Pizza Hut confirms the opening of a new shop and continues to grow in Colombia, with a new outlet opening this week in the city of Barranquilla, bringing the total number of Pizza Hut shops in the country to 32.

The emblematic brand, of American origin, continues with its expansion strategy in the national territory and consolidates its presence in the north of the country with the opening of a new shop in Barranquilla, in the Mall Plaza 51, at Carrera 51B with Calle 87 corner, Local 3. This new shop joins 31 other shops in the country, located in the main cities: Bogotá, Medellín, Cali and Neiva.

This opening employs 17 new workers, enabling the brand to provide employment for more than 320 people in Colombia, including delivery and shop staff.

The company continues to successfully develop its roadmap designed to expand its presence in the national territory, with the aim of reaching more and more Colombians, for which it has continued with its expansion plan, even in times of pandemic and maintaining at all times, security measures and guarantees.

An ambitious plan that represents the establishment of the brand in our country and that contemplates the opening of new establishments that will allow it to reach all the regions of the country.

 

Pizza Hut in Colombia

The brand arrived in Colombia in 2008 and, since 2019, with the help of the leading multi-brand pizza delivery group, Food Delivery Brands, and through a franchise system, more than 30 shops have been opened. Pizza Hut's expansion plan in the country continues, as well as in numerous countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Internationally, Pizza Hut has more than 15,000 restaurants in over 90 countries. An international expansion strategy that has been consolidated since the birth of the brand in 1958, offering its customers a varied gastronomic proposal, ranging from the famous Pizzas Lovers to the iconic Pan Pizza, as well as an extensive variety of starters such as garlic bread.
