Pizza Hut lands in Lanzarote airport

Lanzarote, February 14, 2024 - Travelers disembarking or departing from the César Manrique-Lanzarote airport will be able to savor Pizza Hut's "authentic American flavor" pizzas. The brand has opened a new restaurant in this base area of the Canary Islands with which it reinforces its strategic expansion plan in the Iberian Peninsula, which aims to bring its irresistible products to cities with a young population and a high tourist influx with a renewed modern identity.

Pizza Hut lands for the first time in a Spanish airport and does so at Lanzarote airport, which last year reached an all-time record of more than eight million travelers. The establishment, of more than 100 square meters, joins the 130 restaurants that Food Delivery Brands manages in the Iberia market. In addition, as part of its strategic expansion plan, the company plans to "land" in new airports in 2024 with its main partners through Franchises.

Travelers on the island of Lanzarote now have at their disposal at the airport the Pizza Hut Hot & Ready service, which offers ready-to-eat pizza portions while they are being transported to their boarding gate. With this new establishment, Pizza Hut strengthens its growth strategy in Spain by taking its culinary experiences to places of great tourist attraction. In this way, the brand follows the line of other relevant milestones in our country, such as its third opening on the vibrant island of Ibiza, or its presence in Madrid's Plaza Mayor, which it conquered in 2022 with the "Pizza Chulapa", bringing a traditional flavor to its fresh American ingredients.
