Telepizza Disaster Chef, the first pizza made in Twitch created by Ibai Llanos and BarbeQ
The pizza, made by Ibai Llanos and BarbeQ during the first episode of the cooking competition, will be on sale at Telepizza for a limited time, from 24 February to 20 March.
Meat lovers can enjoy the new Telepizza Disaster Chef, made with bacon, beef, 5 creamy cheeses, carbonara sauce and topped with plenty of barbecue sauce.
Madrid, 24 February 2022 - Telepizza is including in its menu for a limited time the pizza created by streamers Ibai Llanos and BarbeQ in the first episode of the Disaster Chefs programme.
On 1 February, Telepizza became one of the protagonists of the cooking show organised by Ibai Llanos on his Twitch channel, in which 12 of the country's most renowned streamers made their own pizzas. Following the great reception of the programme and the numerous comments on social networks about the expectation to try Ibai and his partner BarbeQ's creation, the brand is launching the new Telepizza Disaster Chef, a pizza that will be available for a limited time, from 24 February to 20 March, on the Telepizza website, app and in Telepizza shops.
To make this first pizza made in Twitch, the ingredients chosen by the pair of streamers were bacon, beef, 5 varieties of cheeses that add creaminess (edam, mozzarella, cheddar, emmental and provolone), carbonara sauce and, as a final touch to top the pizza, one of the favourite sauces of all Spaniards: barbecue. The latter, of course, in abundance as a tribute to BarbeQ itself.
During the first episode of Disaster Chef, the six participating couples were assisted by Telepizza's master pizza chef, who revealed some of the keys to making the perfect pizza, such as the importance of shaping the dough into a circle and stretching it by hand. "The secret is in the dough, which we make ourselves, as well as knowing how to stretch and toss it", to which he added that "every master pizza maker needs a good tomato sauce as a base, which is also part of our secret recipe". In addition, the master pizza maker provided the participants with Telepizza's own ovens so that the pizzas were ready to enjoy in just 5 minutes.
